First school day and first Thai language class today… Great impression!
Jom, our teacher, has been really good (and funny), I had looked at the book yesterday and I thought the first day wouldn’t have learned anything more than I already know, living for two years in Thailand (and listening to Thais) … but I “rediscovered” the exact pronunciation of certain words that I took for granted! And I began to compare myself with the new terms which, I am sure, will help me a lot in everyday life in Koh Samui.
I can’t wait to go to the second lesson …

Ottima impressione! Jom, l’insegnante, è stato davvero bravo (e simpatico), ieri avevo dato un’occhiata al libro e pensavo che il primo giorno non avrei imparato nulla più di quanto già sapessi, vivendo in Thailandia (e ascoltando i thailandesi) da due anni… invece ho “riscoperto” l’esatta pronuncia di alcune parole che davo per scontate! E ho iniziato a confrontarmi con nuovi termini che, ne sono sicuro, mi aiuteranno tantissimo nella vita quotidiana a Koh Samui. Non vedo l’ora di andare alla seconda lezione
