Jom (Watcharagon Nawa), Head Teacher

Enthusiastic and energetic teacher who loves to teach. Jom is a very popular character amongst his students and is well known on Samui. His lessons are always fun filled, educational and entertaining. With over nine years teaching experience he has taught students from all over the world. He created his own unique Thai Language program back in 2002 which we use at the school along with his own style of teaching method that all teaching staff follow.

Cheeda (Waranya Tuuansiri), Thai Teacher

Cheeda is a young vibrant member of the MYL school. She has been working with us since 2007 and teaches beginners and intermediate students. Her fun and relaxed approach to teaching, guarantees her a students enjoy a very rewarding in experience in terms of both education and fun. When teaching has finished for the day she likes to crank up the volume and blast out to one of her favorite tunes! This girl has talent!

Ann (Chalalai Nuttee), Admin & Sales Manager

Ann is responsible for answering all email inquiries & keeping our online schedules updated. She is in the control seat and nothing rarely gets past her. She is always on hand to give out advise on our upcoming courses and promotions.

Nok (Sutanya Hongkhan), Thai Teacher

Nok, originally from Issan has been living and working on Samui for the past six years. She joined the MYL team in early 2009 and looks after our beginner students and introduces them to the very basics of the Thai Language. She is very popular with students and has a gentle caring nature - perfect for new students to grow in confidence to speak and practise their Thai.

Pat (Pat Chantabutr), Translator & Thai Teacher

Pat joined us in mid 2009 from Bangkok with her two city cats. She has now settled into the more relaxed island way of life. Pat works with us on a part-time basis as a supply teacher to cover staff absences. She is also solely responsible for all our translation work. Pats passions in life are looking after animals and accuracy in her work - but when the work is done - her fun side comes out and she really knows how to let her hair down and have fun! She has made many new friends on the island and is very popular with our students!
